What We Do

Being a mum is one of the hardest jobs you can do, and us mums need all the support we can get to stay whole and keep a sense of self in amongst the craziness of family life.

Mums That Can provides useful information relevant for women in their local and surrounding areas.

We aim to help you answer all those questions floating around in your head: where is the children's centre? What groups can I visit with my child today? How am I going to fill up my day without the CBeebies repeats? Am I ever going to have a life again?

For mums looking for something to do with their little (and not so little) ones, we have information on local baby groups, mums and tots toddler groups, and activities for older children.

We provide a cost effective web presence for relevant local and national businesses and services (whether they are run by mums or not), and support local women with children setting up or growing their own businesses and finding family-friendly employment.

So click on your local area, take a look at these pages and see how we can help! If your local area isn't here, get in touch and let us know you need us!

Welcome to EC Dance!

I started dancing at age 3 and since then have danced in so many amazing places and with some inspirational teachers. My aim is to inspire my pupils, of all ages, in the same way that I have been.

I am trained in the I.S.T.D syllabus and Tomboogie.

Current classes held at the Chesterfords and Saffron Walden.
At EC-Dance we will support our pupils to achieve their Dance dreams both in school and out of school dance activities.

Dance has physical and mental health benefits, is good exercise and a fun way to keep fit. Ballet, Modern, Tap (child and adult), National, Contemporary, Street and Fun dance are different dancing styles we provide as well as a new Dance workout called Tomboogie. There are separate classes for boys as well as Private lessons.

I hold a Essex County Council enhanced Chaperone licence, a Paediatric First Aid certificate and am fully insured. All others connected to the school also have enhanced DBS licences and first aid training.

It is important that with dance related injuries access to ice is available. So there is a well stocked first aid kit with instant ice available at all times.

EC-Dance have performed at Max’s Marvellous Fun Day Summer of 2016 showcasing a Contemporary and Pre- Primary Ballet dance as well as supporting local charities.

EC-Dance is providing dancers and the Choreography for Saffron Players Pantomime, so come along and see us at the Town Hall in January.
